China tariffs and thermals

Back to China and the effects of the tariffs ... expect shortages within a month that will make COVID seem like a picnic. The ports on the West Coast are empty. Shipping from China takes 6 weeks to arrive. Everything stopped after April 10th.

This whole thing was such a foolish and idiotic plan. China is suffering. We are on the verge of MASSIVE suffering. Chinese factories are closing and going bankrupt. Even if the tariffs were reversed today, it would take a year or more to reverse the damage done. We do not have the infrastructure, trained people, or supply chains to manufacture what we need for a decade.

This should have been done gradually in targeted industries with patience. It took 30 years to destroy our manufacturing base. It won't come back overnight. Trump screwed up bad because he is a loud mouth impetuous fool.

Here is what will happen next. When all else fails, they take you to war. War is the way they reset the system. That is next.

Problem is, things should have never gotten this way. Trump didn't create the mess, he is trying to fix it. You dont fix messes with littly bitty "surgical" cuts. Our previous administrations have continuously screwed us over for their financial gain no doubt. Who could be stupid enough to let a country who wants to destroy us make all our meds? Its all corruption within our own system. The elitist ruling class sees us the people as their liittle slaves. We are the ones who produce so lets produce and to hell with thr elitist dirtbags whos ideas are selling out the country.

Resetting tariffs and restart of the U.S. manufacturing process has to be rapid. Globalists are counting on a slow down(activist judges),as a rapid reset away from their agenda could/would destroy the 2030 WEF plan, which includes the end of YOUR Constitutional Rights. Make no mistake private ownership of firearms and most other items of independent living(cars, animals, property) and a middle class will be gone along with your vote.

Trump has done some good things. But, just because Kamala was evil, doesn't make Trump good. Questioning Trump is not TDS. You make that accusation because you are not a critical thinker. Here is the bottom line ... all the good Trump has done will be nullified by his stupidity and character flaws.

He is continuing the illegal war in Ukraine that the West provoked
He is assisting Israel in the genocide of Palestinians. Children being bombed were not Hamas.
He is bombing Yemen for the benefit of the Israeli lobby that controls our government
He is on the verge of starting a bigger war in Iran.
His tariffs are dumb beyond measure and will not restore manufacturing that has been lost over 30 years.

I could go on and on. Yes, it is awesome he reversed DEI. Yes, it is awesome he got us out of the WHO. It is awesome he supports the 2nd Amendment. But, if he causes WW3 and destroys your ability to make a living, what is the point?

Did you see where he depicted himself as the Pope? I personally hate the Pope. But, Trumps actions are juvenile and counter productive. I am negative on him because he has the opportunity to be the best President in the history of the USA. But, his big fat mouth and ego will not allow it.

I think if you look you'll see that Trump has been right about just about everything. Is he perfect....no....noone is. Is he savvy?.....Indeed he is. What's your not taking into account is that he did not start these problems, he inherited them. More of the status quo will not fix the problem. The sad part is so much of country is willing to see the country fail just because they don't wanna admit that they were wrong.
 
Did you see today where China is now wanting to have trade talks with the US? Did you see they are quietly exempting a quarter of US imports from tariffs?
The point of adding tariffs is not to have tarriffs, it's to get rid of tariffs. I don't understand why people can't see that?Maybe they're not good critical thinkers.
 
Funny. Trump said the purpose of tariffs is to bring manufacturing back. So, did he lie? There are no scheduled trade talks. The tariffs are on more countries than just China. They have inflicted these tariffs on the just about every country in the world. And, guess what? You pay them. They are a tax on us, not them.

The world isn't cheating America. We take their goods and give them pieces of paper created out of thin air by the banking cartel running America. It is the other way around. America cheats the world.

He claimed to be able to end the useless war on Russia via our proxy Ukraine in one day. The reality is that he is increasing it. We give our wealth to other nations for FREE. You will never see a dime of that ridiculous mineral deal. He also doubled down on fighting Israel's wars. Again, with our money. Any gain from DOGE will be lost on his record "defense" bill. It is not defense of the USA.
 
Your say how bad tariffs are then you defend other countries implementing them on us. Fair trade and free market is the goal. Can you not see the results of the pretrump way. Thats what got us here needing major change.
With intrest in mining minerals in Ukraine, an attack on Ukraine is then an attack on Americans which changes the rules. Putin wants nothing to do with that. Breaking China and detering Russia sounds good to me. China is a cheating thieving nation that needs checked. We need to deregulate and make energy cheap making doing business here adfordable again so we can get back to procducing here. Other nations can earn our business buy treating us fairly and producing here can mandate that.
America is a rich and powerful country because of the free market and the ability for people to create something and get ahead. Other countries are not that way. Why should we let them cheat to compete?
Once again the reason we are in this situation is because previous administrations gave up all deterents. Trump is putting deterents back into play. Have you ever heard the saying if you want peace prepare for war?
As far as doge, the only people opposed to cutting fraud is the people benefiting from fraud. Just.the interest on the national debt is more than this country spends on defense. Seems to me we need to lower the debt. You can't do that by continuing waste.

I never said it was Trump's fault he inherited a bad situation. I am saying that egotistical loudmouth fool is playing the cards he has wrong. Completely wrong.

The moron foolishly threatened to make Canada the 51st state and handed the liberal party in Canada a victory. Great work.

There are countless other situations where he needlessly alienates his opponents and allies. He is a toddler. Most of what he has done like dropping the "N word" before fighting a black dude. Why in the world would you want to make your opponent fight harder?
 
Thermal prices are up, so I'll be sticking with my US made NVision scope for a while till China blinks and America is back on an even playing field with the rest of the world.

Most are adults here that remember what occurred the last four years and beyond.
The families of Ukraine and Gaza remember, as do the families of the hundreds of thousands of Americans who OD'd from China made Fentanyl coming over the open border.
Not to mention the families of the millions that died around the world during the Covid pandemic that was intentionally spread across the globe by China.
They get no sympathy from me as I had family and friends that succumbed to Covid.
We all know Trump is an egotistical maniac, but he's doing what he said he was going to do if elected, not for the benefit of other countries, but for America.
We'll get through this.

Survived the hernia op Tues. back to Hosp Fri with pain, high temp and white count. Survived 3 days of penicillin and liquid diet (food was terrible). Where did I get the infection? 95% sure it was the hosp.! They don't get cleaned! Not China's fault - well maybe - few practitioners there were Caucasians.
 
Those pieces of paper aren’t worthless as long as the next guy has confidence in them Dave. And aside from jewelry and some manufacturing for gold, is it really worth that much? Again, it’s all about people’s confidence in these things. Stock markets hot? People are extremely confident in those pieces of paper. Stock markets crashed? It’s all just worthless pieces of paper…until their confidence in them is restored. It could be seashells, gold, pieces of paper, anything, as long as people’s confidence is there
