Anyone have or use any of the AB suppressors?

i wonder what the quietest suppressor is for a .223 / 5.56 ?

i currently have the YHM turbo T-2 which has a decibel rating of 134, its quiet but i think with a lot of new technology there has to be something out there around 125 or so.

a lot of the ads just list decibel reduction and not the actual ratings they got and what round they got the rating with.

is the warthog quieter ?

Anyone have problems with the atlas xl and the ab not Mate’n up. Mine won’t screw in freely an I ain’t about to strip my suppressor threads.
If you are talking about the Raptor and NOT the warthogs
The warthogs are 1.375 standard thread and the Raptor s are a Proprietary pitch requiring a The Raptor Adaptor

Reportedly the quietest is the Cat JL & PTR Vent 1. Both are large cans.

AB is top notch I own 6 Warthogs and 1 Raptor 10 Ring with 5" Reflex ....
I have done some testing recently with my Decibel meter at the bench

My conclusion ..
The warthog 30 cal is the best deal out there....matches the 10 ring Raptor
in performance when fitted with a Rearden Atlas XL rear hub and FPM Precision
Spleen Splitter Dual port break.... for half the price ...

They are Built to last a lifetime
The reflex showed no decibel reduction but rather gas blowback reduced to
nothing on my gas guns in testing.

I also soaked my 5.56 can in boiling water to remove the 22 cal end cap
rockset ..and used it in testing on my 10 ring Raptor and found 1 to 2
decibel reduction only ..
So stick with the 30 cal as it's applicable to most of your varmint rigs...

My conclusion on the reflex is it's a Gimmick....
The lil 5.56 Warthog is sweet especially when fitted with a rear hub and break
and it as you'd imagine a dream on my CZ 22 rimfire bolt guns ...

These cans are a steal and the best kept secret out there
So, does the Spleen Splitter brake also reduce felt recoil more on the A10?

Anytime you divert the expanding gas perpendicular from the bore, it will reduce recoil

Whether it is inside of a can or not
And it most certainly helps reduce the sound signature and enhance the can's ability to perform

Anytime you can keep the gas in the.Rear expansion chamber longer to spend its energy before it works. Its way through the baffle system is going to be a big benefit

And by redirecting it perpendicular to the bore and away from the first blast baffle, it does exactly that

Look into the exigent defense vanish 5.56
I'm quite sure it beats both of them easily

And is light as it's titanium laser sintered
Printed .

I have one ordered currently
Price is fair at 800

One thing to keep in mind is anytime you go to a shop they are going to brag on what they sell, just how it works.

I've been shooting, competing and tinkering with suppressors for about 30 years now. There is every make you can imagine that shows up regularly at PRS events and currently IMO hands down the nicest one out is built by Lane Shelley at Billet Precision in Hopkinsville Kentucky. I don't even know the name of it but it is fully modular, serviceable, super quiet and there is very very minimal recoil with it. So much so that I've strongly considered going back to competing with a can instead of a brake.

I don't personally own one but a few guys whom I regularly compete with do and I've had lots of opportunities to shoot them and they are outstanding.

Game Tamer, looks pretty interesting:

That's it Al, its the best thing going IMO! I shot a KYL plate at 500yd with a 25CM and recoil shift was a little less than 1 mil. Best recoil reduction can I've ever shot and its super quiet.
