This is my wife's first head of game, a very nice Georgia hog taken in June 2025. I am just now getting the video done after finding an editing program that accepts iphone videos. ClipChamp works well in case you are interested. She used a Ruger American Predator in 6mm Remington, shooting an 85 gr. Barnes TSX. Perfect head shot. I am very proud of her. She is hooked on hunting now.

Congratulations on an excellent shot. I hope you enjoy many more to come. Tell me, did you aim for the ear? Little difficult for me to tell. On hogs especially this is what I like to see. DRT.
 
Cherokee, yes the ear. I told her to aim at the base of the ear. DRT is what I like on hogs too.

Crapshoot, yes she is Filipina. We went through all the government red tape and expense to get her citizenship. It took 7 long years of constant attention and playing by the rules to obtain it, unlike what the Dems do with illegals. We have been married going on 25 years. The good thing is that she is solid conservative and a country girl.

She is a great cook and loves wild game. She fixes the hog to where you would think it is beef. She made spaghetti with ground deer a couple days ago.

Spurchaser, I have a good friend who owns quite a bit of land there and has access on other properties too. He does offer paid hunts, free ranging hogs shot from tower blinds at various locations. I am in Virginia.
