I’ve had the itch for an AR10 for a few years, and have been cleaning some things out of my collection. Got rid of enough to pick this up. Pretty excited about it…just need to clean/lube and put a scope on it yet.

Other than knowing H&K makes good stuff, I don't know that you have there..haha

Nice looking set up ! Even comes with a knife for when you run out of ammo ! :cool:

It’s a 75th Anniversary Edition MR762 A1 7.62x51/.308 in Tropentarn Cerakote…1 of 500 made…came with a matching Tropentarn knife and 75th Anniversary Commemorative Coin. Also came with 4 20rd Mags and the Pelican Hard Case w/ custom cut foam…all in all a really good deal for the price…a lot of people do t like the Tropentarn color so there are still some of them floating around.

The rifle is self is piston operated…there is a newer A4 model that has full ambidextrous controls, an adjustable gas block and a slimmer handguard. This just has ambidextrous safety…But everything I researched said that the A1’s shoots alittle better…should do 1-1.5 MOA.

I have quite a few other HK’s so this was the cherry on top. I’ve slimmed my collection down considerably and replaced whatever I could with HK’s…they just feel right and perform the best for me and they tend to hold or go up in value. With the tariffs, import restrictions etc. certain things may not be available any longer or are being discontinued so getting while I still can.

I have no doubt it will run like a sewing machine with zero problems

Optic I think I am going to go with Nightforce NXS 3-15x50 with Velocity 1000 reticle
My shop has it for sale in their used section for a great price. I think it will be a great match.
My range has steel targets out to 525yds so that’s the max distance I would ever use it.
Hoping to pick it up Wednesday.
I will make a post with more pics and targets once I get it to the range
Weather here In PA has been horrible

for h&k $$... if you cant get that damn thing to at least 0.75 MOA with handloads or even something like fgmm - i'd be *PISSED*

at 1½ MOA i'd be sending it back as defective. just sayin.
 
Also changed out the trigger guard from a standard flat style to a winter guard, and ditched the factory Magpul grip to an Ergo Deluxe Tactical..I love that grip and have it on all my other AR’s. Don’t think there’s anything else to change out…Geissele does once in a blue moon do a run of charging handles.
Debating on an Atlas Bipod, and should prob get a sling for it.

Thanks. It’s been sitting for sale at the shop for almost a year. It’s basically new. Came with the box, mount and a sunshade. Illumination didn’t work, but put a fresh battery in when I got home and works great. Was also sent to Nightforce for a checkup about 2yrs ago…This is the reticle: LV.5 Velocity 1000
Should be darn close to ballistics of Federal GMM 168gr I’ll be using

It has a 1.5 MOA guarantee…I have no doubts it will do better than that. If it doesn’t I’m sure HK will take care of me. Hoping to get it to the range this weekend
 
I have two Rock River LAR-8’s, one 16” Elite Operator and one 20”. They both shoot .5 MOA and neither one is very particular about what you feed it. I think you’ll be very pleased with the way that rifle shoots. And there are some very nice drop in trigger options that may make you like it even better. Beautiful rifle! Enjoy!
