I hear about everyone downloading sounds for there mp3 but where to you guys go to download all of these sounds? And do you get them for free?

It can be a a lotta fun to scour the net for sounds to download. Many clips will come from zoos, rescue shelters and bunny-huggers sites, providing added satisfaction. A good starting point oft mentioned is http://www.findsounds.com but they don't search .mp3 files so you'll have to convert what you find. (GoldWave is what I use for cleaning them up and converting them.)

Here are some other places to go:
http://residents.bowhunting.net/bowhunt1/turkey.htm
(I include this because I've been charged by coyotes while mouth-calling turkeys, it makes a pretty good predator call at various times)
http://www.allpredatorcalls.com/sound_links.htm
http://downloads.western-rivers.com/sound.php

Any search engine can turn up interesting predator calling sounds. I like Google, AllTheWeb.com, and Dogpile.

But unfortunately the high-quality sounds you'll not so easily find on the web, legal or not, will be the ones that're the most indispensible--
meat n taters recordings of actual cottontails and jackrabbits in distress. I and plenty of others have hunted successfully for years using just a few tapes of live-recorded rabbits. If you don't have a bunch of tapes already, I'd recommend you go buy yourself a CD that contains actual bunny screams (about $20). Then you can relax and enjoy searching and downloading more.
