Tasco Titan Riflescope

Well, another gunshow, broke again. Anyway, I bought a NIB Tasco Titan scope this morning to put on my LTR that I am building for a calling rifle. Its a 3X12X52 w/30mm tube. Glass is as clear as my Burris and Nikons and seems to be a very nice piece of glass. Has anyone used these optics? Their web page says they are their top of the line scopes. Jap glass and so forth. I'm trying to break myself off of big power scopes for varmint hunting so I figured I start here. Any comments would be good to hear. Hope I wasn't suckered in on this.

I have 2 of their "world class" scopes on my .22's and really like them. Bright, clear, and hold zero.

Tasco scopes are GREAT.....For beating wounded ground squirrels to death. In the last fifteen years I have had four tasco World classes and all of them bit the dust, turrets came off, lost zero after very few rounds, and one I mounted on my Ruger 10/22, the cross hair broke after about thirty shots. Although I must admit I have no experience with the Titan.

I hope you have better luck than I did.

They are solid scopes and with a lifetime warrenty and very bright optics also they where very expensive to buy new.

You cannot compare the World Class to the Titan. Not even close to being in the same league. Titans probably cost 4X as much. The only ones I have seen used are the older ones.........

I was very sceptical on the purchase, but got it for a really decent cost, I think. About 2/3 of Tasco's cost. The clairity is really good and it looks like a very sturdy scope. I have two Monarchs and a Buckmaster and a few Burris scopes and it is as clear as any of those. My favorite is my B&C 4000 and its right there with it. Haven't got to tack it to the range yet. Hope it works out there as well.
