Right now my prefered bullet is Sierra 165SBT, but I need a Lead Free Substitute.
So GMX or E-Tip
Which is the better bullet ?
Which is more accurate ?

The E-tip has a higher BC, but higher priced. The GMX has canalure grooves, not the E-Tip.

Over all, I like the GMX better. But my Remington 700 in 7 RemMag LOVES the Barnes TSX. Great bullet too, as far as the lead free world goes.

If the non-grooved E-tip has the same accuracy issues I encountered with the original X bullet, I would urge you to go with the GMX.

When Barnes came out with the grooved TSX, accuracy was very easy to find in all the rifle/calibers I load them in.

Due to my satisfaction with Barnes TSX, I have not used the E-tip nor the GMX.

I have used the GMX by Hornady. My 7mm 08 likes them. Averages MOA at 100. Good enough for pigs. They put coyotes down with authority.
