60 gr Nosler BT load?

I am looking for something using Varget or Benchmark. I will be using CCI small rifle primers and twice fired Winchester brass. I am having a hard time finding Ballistic tip info for the 60 Grainers.There is plenty on the 60 gr spitzer. I am shooting a AR(.223) with a 22" brl 1:9 twist. Does any one shoot this bullet? Likes/dislikes?

25.3 grains of H335 or 25 grains of TAC will get you in the 2900 fps range and should cycle your AR just fine...anyway my 1:9 Bushmaster loves'em.

I like the bullet.

The box I bought had a little slip of paper with load data on it for .223. I bought them for my 22-250, but haven't had the chance to load them yet. Anyway, here's the data that came with them.

IMR 4198
* 18.0g. (2,680 fps)- 20.0g. (2,933 fps)

Benchmark
* 21.5g. (2,932 fps) - 23.5g. (3,136 fps)

RL-15
* 23.5g. (2,809 fps) - 25.5g. ( 3,078 fps)

Thanks. I had loaded some using Benchmark at 23.5gr with the CCI small rifle primers and had encouraging results. That load was taken from the Hornady manual and was for the 60gr Vmax. Tha Nosler is a longer bullet and is a boattail rather than flat base. Does anyone shoot the Nosler Ballistic tip in a 55gr or 50 gr in a .223?

I have some loaded up that have shot well, in My Tikka as well as the Howa Varmint. 55 gr Nosler 25 gr H335 COL 2.290 The Howa with the 1/12 twist likes them better than the Tikka with 1/8 twist. But both are minute of Coyote.

They also have loads for the 63g Sierra SP. You should be on the safe side if you start with them. Rarely do I find a listing that exactly matches all the compoents I'm wanting to use. Even if the components match the barrel length or twist doesn't. The thing is you got to find a safe starting point and them slowly work your way up. Usually a bullet the same weight will have enough margin built in that you can start with that load's low end. If not comfortable go to the next heavier bullet weight and start there. This has worked for me on jacketed bullets, I wouldn't do it with solid coppers like Barnes and such. They are so much longer by weight and harder that the pressures would be quite different.

peace.

I have used the 55 and 60 grain Nosler BT with 24.8 and 24.5 grains of Benchmark. Both group real well in my 20" 1-8. I have also used the Nosler CT Ballistic Slivertips in the 50 and 55 grains with good results as well.
