B-Square Bipods

Anyone have any experience with the B-Square bipods? I have a Harris and like it but am interested in a swiveling bipod and the Harris is a bit pricey.

Can't recommend it. I have one and it sucks. You asked, right? The rotate feature always wears down and you constantly have to take it apart and tighten the screw to keep it from falling sideways when you carry the rifle. I finally just locked mine down. I have since bought another Harris, like I should have done when I tried the B-square. Don't waste your money.

Hey Whipstick,

Looks like you could probably buy a few B-Square bi-pods here really cheap! With your machinist background I bet you could probably make up a decent pod from the parts...what do you think? Anyone want to sell their B-Square pod cheap? Email me at: [url=mailto:ciambell@fgi.net

Thanks alot guys. Saved me a bunch of headaches it looks like. I have a Harris that is a great piece of equipment but doesn't swivel and is a pain on uneven ground. Looks like I'll be shopping for a Harris swivel...Midsouth ought to send me a Christmas card this year all I been ordering from 'em.

Tom send me your email address again...darned computer crashed and I lost it. We'll hook up REAL soon!

Ive used the b square and sent it back and bought the snipepod.I cant believe more of you guys arent using it. It swivels
tilts, rotates etc. you can adjust the legs height to go from sitting to prone and it weighs just 6 oz. and you can remove it in 1 second. I use my for coyote hunting and wouldnt leave home without it. The harris which is a fine bipod will not pan it only will adjust for uneven ground. Most of the guys i know that are serious about coyote hunting dont use the harris

I don't use the Harris all that often. I mainly use my Stoney Point telescoping sticks. I'll throw down the Harris and shoot from prone if the need arises. That's why it's there. I checked out the Snipepod a while back. It seemed like a good design. Maybe after some more positive input, I'll try one out. Oh, and BTW, we're pretty serious about hunting coyotes down here, even though we don't use the Snipepod.

I have used the Harris and have the Snipepod. The Snipepod is my pick of the two for using on a calling stand. Once you see how one works you will really appreciate it. I saw one demonstrated at a sporting goods show and I bought one right then. One of the best pieces of equipment that I have ever purchased for coyote calling. It also works great for hunting any big game.
Redfrog, this should help you out. www.snipepod.com
