Anyone use one? I found one used 8 years old for $100. The guy said a couple of the seams the tape was coming off. How hard is it to repair this? And is it worth it? Looking for a tent for 2 guys to use in Wyoming antelope and deer hunting next year. Thanks for any help

I have the latest version 12x12. I don't know what differences there are between that one and an 8 yr. old tent, but for $100, you can't go wrong.
It's a whole 'nother world of camping. I'd never had a cabin/outfitter type tent before, but I don't think I could ever go back. The tent is awesome and just being able to stand up, walk around, and have a woodstove is like another world. Even if it's the smallest one they make, it should be fine for two guys. We had ours up for almost a week in Durango this spring. It was the wife, our two girls, the wife's niece, and me. We had two XL cots and a bedroll. There was room for everyone to sleep, all our stuff, and the stove. Fine living indeed.

I have slept in two, the Alaknak I and II. The four foot sides are nice cause it give lots of headroom. I was not the owner but after helping set up and take down I would jump on it for the price. I would imagine some canvase seam sealer would be easy to find. Good Luck.
