6.8 ARP Barrels?

Not a 6.8 but I recently rebarreled with a 223 Wylde scout profile ARP barrel and I love it! Excellent barrel and it shoots lights out, got a .288" group at 100yds on my first recipe work up. I fully intend to build another upper with an ARP 6.8 barrel when funs allow. ARP is arguably the leader in the 6.8 cartridge, and his prices are great as well.

I shoot an arp barrel and shoot 85gr tsx's that are very impressive. Unbelievable product for a nice price. One of the few companies this can be said about in the ar world.

Harrison Beene makes great products and is a true leader in 6.8's.

I have twin ARP uppers- a 6.8 and a 5.56. They both shoot very well.

I got my 6.8 upper from Scott @ SD and it is a 16" WOA barrel with a mid length gas system and it drives tacks with 110 grain Vmax and H322. MV isn't screaming at 2600 FPS, but its very accurate. It was used by a buddy to take down a 230+ lbs. buck this year. One shot to the ribs, Not exit but his chest cavity was was like soup inside. didn't make it 10 steps.

I built my last 6.8 SPC with an ARP barrel. Exceptional
quality. I took some 90 Speer HP loads I have for a RRA
6.8 SPC upper, and they went sub-MOA. Now I am working some
95 gr. TTSX loads, where I am trying to ring out the most
velocity, and still get 1 MOA accuracy. The first batch of
development loads look promising.

Harrison has put a bunch of research in to chamber dimensions,
and twist rates. His barrels get the most out of the 6.8 SPC
cartridge.

Bonus question answer: I don't shoot an ARP but I do shoot 90g TNT rounds out of my Stag 16 inch. My best load for accuracy has been 29g of H322 which produces 2673fps and a .59" 5 shot group.
