I have not been able to find official load data for this combination, but started by using the 69 grn bullet data. Currently at 24.8 grains Varget with this bullet and best group so far is .445" out of my ATH. Not sure what the max load should be though. I have absolutley no pressure signs at 24.8. Does anyone know what the max load should be for this bullet/power combo??

~26.5gr of Varget w/65gr bullet.

Thanks, CatShooter. I'll work upwards towards that. I would like to increase the velocity, as long as the accuracy stays good.
Any idea what the FPS might run with that load?

3200-ish.

I hunted with the 65gr Gameking pushed by Varget out of my 223AI last year and it performed very well. A longer range version of the tried and true 55gr gameking.

I worked up a load for a buddy's standard .223 and found the rifle shot both 26.0 and 26.5gr of Varget equally as well out of his rifle. He has taken two black tailed deer with the 26.5gr combo and they performed very well in those situations also.

I started using the 65gr GK after loosing a few coyotes using 60gr V Max bullets. The GK puts them down really well. Also killed a nice 8 point a couple years ago. Neck shot = DRT.

26.0 gr of Varget and BR primers.
