case trimmers?

What is your favorite and your best case trimmer you guys have used or own? I have to break down and buy one because Lee is not making custom gauges now because of the buying craze and I need one. Thanks for your comments!

I would like to know how people are liking the rcbs trim pro 2 with the universal shell holder? i have the regular trim pro that needs the seperate shell plates, and i dont have any complaints really. i was thinking about making the move to a power unit and id like to give the new rcbs a try and sell my old one. but thats only if the new universal shell holder is any good.

I recently got one of these for my .223 and you won't find a faster more efficient way to trim your brass. I can pump them out 10x faster with it.

At least not for the price. Lol

I have the new RCBS with the universal. Pluses are not having to pull the shell holder or having an additional holders. Minus it is not as quick or at least having to adjust some in the begining to get them in the right position. Just some getting used to I guess. Everything else is great.

I have a new RCBS fully automated, self powered trimmer that even automatically places the trimed brass in the block when completed:

The trouble with those is, they empty more than they help load.^^^^^^

I like my RCBS Trim Pro-2 powered, I have the three way head that trims and chamfers at the same time. Works great, mine has the lever and plates.

I’m going to have one with a 6mm neck (6X45) that will also work for my 223. This is per the manufacturer.

Geeze! You could at least feed him! LOL I cant wait for my son to get old enough to help out a bit.

After many years of using a Hornady trimmer I bought me a CTS case trimmer and man! Why did I wait so long? Chuck it in your drill press or just in your battery drill. Takes about 2-3 seconds per case to trim. No pilot or shell holders needed. With the same tool I can trim all my cases that use brass in the .222 family. So I am using it for my .17 Remington, my .221 FB, my .204, my 223 and my .223 AI. Changing it from one caliber to another takes less time than it is taking me to type this.

Youtube CTS Case Trimmer and you will see what I'm talking about.
