Hornady New Dimension Dies

Any idea how to tell what seating stem insert you have in an unknown Hornady CG ND seating die??? Not marked, appears that it might be a 30-06 06 for blunt-nosed bullets??? Neither the die nor the inserts are marked for caliber or diameter - I guess all of the seating dies are the same, with different inserts??

The die should be marked "Hornady Seater"

Remove the seating stem. On the top of the stem should be the stem number in stamped numbers/letters.

That's what I'd've thought - no markings at all?!?!?!?! Had it all apart.
 
The seater dies from Hornady's New dimension line are universal with different lengths for pistol, rifle and I think magnum. Seating stems interchange respectively.

From what you describe, I would think you have a seater set up for 30-30 Win.

Any pictures?
 
I can try to get some pix up - didn't think about the 30-30 - that would explain the blunt seater cup. The 06 case fit in nice, but so may the 30-30 - will try it.
