savage axis trigger adjustment

I have a savage axis with a 10lb trigger pull. I have seen information on PM about changing springs and want to try and lighten the pull on my axis in a 223 cal. If any one would be kind enough to tell me how I would be grateful. thanks spike
 
Search axis/edge trigger. There's a few hundred pages about adjusting the trigger. It's cheap fast and easy.
 
I have the Axis in .223. I did the simple fix first, changed the spring, etc.

I ultimately shot the lock off my wallet and bought the RifleBasix SAV-1. I paid $267 for the rifle and $84 or so for the trigger. Some folks ask why i just didn't buy a Savage 111 trophy combo for the same end result...truth is I don't know. What I do know is I'm really happy with my Axis now.

I took a couple of strands off the bottom of the spring and the trigger went from 10lbs to 3.25lbs. thanks for your helpful suggestions. spike
