Bruno 17 hmr

I've got their 22 mag and it is a sweetshooter. The price for extra magazines is a little on the high side but I have been very happy with it. if the 17 is anywhere near their 22 mag I think you will be very happy with it.

If it's the ZKM617 semi-auto version be careful, they had a lot of problems with the rifles that were imported into the U.S.. So many problems in fact that the majority of them got recalled and were not fixed and resold, but shipped back, I talked to the distributor and they said the problem was caught fairly early on so there were only about 200 distributed in the U.S.. I have one, but it sits in its box and I probably won't try to shoot it, I also have the 22 mag version and it is a great gun. If you are going to get it, just make sure that it is one that has been repaired.

I own a CZ 452 (or Brno depends on what you prefer)in the .17HMR. Shoots great, except for a recent problem of the last round in the mag not being caught and loaded by the bolt. Only happens occasionally.

Actually when I went to pick up the rifle, the old bugger I was getting it from changed his price. I was trading two scopes (a Leupold and a Banner) and a 22 for it and he wanted an extra 100 bucks, so I said screw that. I went to the local gunshop and got a Savage 93r17 in heavy barrel for a lot better deal. I really wanted the Bruno but I just couldn't justify buying a used one for the price of a new with a scope included.
