Hi everyone, I am wondering if anyone knows the value of this scope? It does have some ring marks but optics are perfect and it still looks real good. Thank you much.
 
Prolly $150ish. With a fixed power most guys I know like a 4 or 6 fixed. So with a 10 fixed it's hard to use for a close in hunting rig. But it's a leupold and will always be repaired/replaced for free so it could be worth more. I guess its value is what someone will pay you right now. In your neck of the woods things might cost more. Most want a variable power nowadays.
 
I personally wouldn't. You can find a vx2 3-9 leupold for about $250 on sales. Do you really want a 10 power scope, when you can get a variable for a few bucks more? And the glass coatings are way older in that m8. That's the thing about value, we all have different needs and outlooks. It is an AO so that is worth a tad more I guess. See if he will throw you in a set of nice rings you can use and offer $175. At least if you do get it and you have issues leupold will replace it no questions asked. So you won't be a$$ out if it dumps out on you. So that is worth some peace of mind. I'm just not a 10 power scope user, variable is so nice.
 
Well, if you're gonna put it on a target rifle and punch paper at 100 yards, it'll work just fine and could be worth the $$. If it's for a hunting rifle, I'd much rather have the variable. I'd rather not try to shoot that coyote moving through the brush at 20 yards with a 10x scope, so for that purpose I'd pass, even at $175.
