20 ga slug trajectory

Anyone have a ballistic program? Looking for trajectory for a 260 grain 20 gauge sabot slug, muzzle velocity @ 1850fps and zeroed at 100 yards. Thanks.

I Wouldnt mess with a program. Go shoot it and confirm your drops.

Even if you could get a bit more out of it, I wouldn't want to shoot at a deer and past the 150 yard area. A few years ago a guy next to us(neighbor) wounded a nice buck with his 20 ga slug gun. He described the shot as a bit over 100 yards.

For the longer ranges I much favor a modern inline muzzle-loader, where center fires are not allowed. I did a 'shoot-off'(informal) this Fall between my slug gun and M-L. As expected the Knight Elite in 45 cal handily outshot the Browning Gold with the Hastings slug barrel. Just a few musings on the subject.

I have a bolt action Savage 220 and with modern sabots like accutips I feel comfortable to 150 yards, maybe a bit more.

Hard part with slug guns is range estimation. Becomes critical real fast.

Point blank range on an 8" target is about 195 yards. That is a 4" rise and a 4" fall below the line of sight.
