Remington 700 APR (African Plains Rifle) ??

On page 66 of the latest issue of Rifle Shooter Magazine is a picture of a Rem 700 APR (African Plains Rifle). It has a very sleek looking laminated wood stock and looks like a fairly nice factory stock/rifle combination.

I checked the Remington web site and they show a Model 7 AWR (Alaskan Wilderness Rifle) in several of the Rem SUM calibers. I found it under "Whats New" for 2005.

However, I can't find anything on the Model 700 APR. Does anyne have any information on this rifle? Calibers?, etc.

TIA - BCB
