Winchester White Box .223 Ammo?

Can someone help me out.
I have been looking for this ammo (WINCHESTER WHITE BOX, .223) on the net, but have not come across any /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif
I would love to see what the ammo looks like, a photo of box and cartriges would be great.

Midway USA usually has it in stock. It will probably just be a picture of the box, at best.

The 45 grain HP comes in two different boxes - one is 40 rounds with styrofoam packaging and the other is 50 per box just packed flat in a smaller white box. I believe the 40 packs are labeled with "Varmint" on it

Also, be careful if you want the 45 grain HP because 55 grain FMJ comes packed in the same looking 50/box also. They look just alike except for the end labels.

ALSO, if the 55 grain FMJ is what you want, there are two types of it that come in almost indentical looking boxes. One comes with regular WW 223 Rem head stamped brass with no primer crimp. The other has a crimped primer and has the military style headstamp on it. Both work great in my AR's, but they are different ammo.

My SIL shoots the 45 grain HP ammo in one of my bolt action 223 Rem rifles each year when he goes PD shooting with me and my two sons. It's as cheap as reloading practicaly, its very accurate, and works great on PD's.

Hope you can find some. I live in Texas - not sure where you live - but Academy sports always seems to have the 40 round boxes in stock down here. Good luck - BCB

the white box is great stuff, i have never seen a rifle that would not shoot it well and in most cases really well, however, it chronies no where near the 3600fps in my guns one is a 24" tube, I usually get around 3300fps with it. if you run the #'s you should only use it for less than 200yd coyotes and small varmints, If you want some good ammo for everything pick up some black hills reman with a 50grn vmax, it is accurate, quick and most of all only ever so slightly more than white box, but is nice to be able to carry 50 rounds in a little white box in your pocket
 
As good as Winny White is, and I am not knocking it in any way have 8 boxes in the garage, you may want to try the UltraMax. UltraMax 50 gr TNT is more accurate than Winny White and DOES THE JOB! 300 rounds of UltraMax at Cabela's is $84.50.
 
I got 2 pics of what they will do to the top of a coyotes head when it insists on trying to stay hidden behind bushes on the way out. Other than that I don't know how they perform in the body but the time to find out is soon approaching.

t/c i have only shot two coyotes with this stuff & it blew them up pretty bad my shots were not perfect but not shoulder-bone shots. i'm not knocking it at all just so far it seems pretty explosive. it shoots real well in my gun. i'm playing with different types of ammo now trying to find something else that shoots well & maybe not quite so messy !! might take a stab at relaoding this winter. just my thoughts maybe others have different results ??
