Mini DVR recorder,...

Came across this little guy the other day doing random google searches trying to find something reasonable to use with my Sightmark Photon XT this fall to get some of the action recorded....figured I'd take the chance and order one,...it showed up yesterday and works perfectly, pretty much charge the battery and plug it in,..my scope came with the RCA adapter,.the DVR came with everything else. Well beyond my expectations so far. It's identical to the one I almost bought from Ultimate Night Vision for twice the price. Not trying to hurt another business,..just sharing this with you folks,..a 100 bucks is a 100 bucks man,...I'll post some video for everyone once our night season opens in a couple weeks.

Mini DVR Recorder

It is identical, and I know exactly in China where they obtained these. You could have gotten this one for $79.00. https://tnvc.com/shop/night-goggles-inc-mini-dvr-recording-system/ There are many others that need to make a living, but we do not believe in gouging the market. We know what these cost and charging hundreds for these Chinese made units is terrible and we're not about that.

I wish we could find a US made system, but then it would cost hundreds which others charge for the current Chinese stuff.

I looked at the Angel Eye KS-650M before ordering the other...it looked pretty hit or miss with the reviews I found on Amazon. So far so good with the Lumenier I landed up with. I found a pile of them under different names over seas,..took awhile, but at least found a seller on American soil that might benefit from the sale.

So Vic, this is slightly off topic, but do you prefer the mini dvr or the GoPro adapter? I have the mini dvr, but am looking to improve on quality of video. And the video you posted from the IR Defense Patrol XR is superb. But even that I don't think is from the GoPro adapter. What did you use for that video? Trade secret?

G.

Jef,

Post up some video once you get things worked out.

I have had very good service from this one, but it cost more than Vic's.

The Lumenier I purchased is the exact same one that you provided the link for. Just another name on the box. The price was the same too. We open Nov 10th for 24 hour hunting,...should have some video shortly after that. Didn't want to bore folks with any of the test footage,..carnage always makes it more fun!

Yes Sir, sure does. We offer our custom made in the U.S. tactical pouch that is very well done as an option.

The GoPro adpapter looking through the eye piece gets better video due to the video loss of internal recording.

The XR video you speak of was taken with a Sony HD hooked on the back of the eye piece and that was the closest I've seen to an actual look through of real time. Not quite, but very close.
