any Flir PTS 536 users ?

It is a good mid-range thermal. The biggest advantage/disadvantage to the PTS536 is the 4x base magnification and narrow Field of View. If you hunt wide open areas, it is a nice thermal. However, if you often hunt tight cover or shoot at multiple targets in a row like a sounder of hogs, then probably not the best option.

Here are things I like about the Flir:
1) Confidence in yardages past 100 yards due to the 4x base mag
2) Very clear definition of object especially for a 320 thermal
3) Color Reticles and palettes
4) Size
5) Really good QD base
6) Shot Activation Recording Feature (Both sensitivity and length of recording)

The things I am not crazy about:
1) Focus ring is touchy and hard to focus but a cattail can be used Link
2) Background objects look a little messy
3) Buttons are hard to press with gloves
4) Hard charging coyotes can be hard to locate

Here are 2 videos using it on some coyotes Video 1 , Video 2

I have the remote and it helps some. The 4 side buttons are bigger and it is easier than the original buttons, but still not great for the middle button. Nice option for $99 though.

I simply jbwelded a picatinny mount to the battery and picked up a short USB cable off Amazon. It will last 20+ hours. If you want more specifics, PM me.
