soooo,
* i have a complete 7.5" barreled upper.
* i have a stripped lower.
* i have a lower build kit but it is for a rifle build.

i know i cant use the butt stock from the lower build kit to build a pistol.

can i use the buffer tube, spring and buffer?

OR, do i need a different tube, spring and buffer to make it legal and run properly?

thanks

crapshoot, the one i have on hand is an ordinary 6 position butt stock for a rifle build. i know i cant use that on a short barrel build.

after thinking about it, i dont think ican use the buffer tube either, because it hhas the provisions to put a butt stock on it.

think i would have to use a smooth buffer tube.

have not thought about a brace yet. going to wait for a few days and see what new sh8t the atf comes out with.

So what you have is a carbine length buffer tube, spring and buffer. The spring and buffer will work.
The tube MAY work with one of the braces that has an adjustable lop.

As you probably already know, there is a lot of possible changes coming down the pipe about braces and receivers from the ATF. But if it's and but's were candy and nuts... well you get the idea.

The SBA3/4 braces use a standard 6 position buffer tube. They only allow use of 5 of the positions due to the brace design to make it "Pistol Legal"...
