What powder is your preferred choice for 150 grain bullets in your 7mm-08?

Yes, I know that the 140 is the "bullet of choice" but I'm interested in 150s also.

I shoot a 139 grain spitzer for WT deer using IMR4350. Kills deer and works good on hogs as well. I can't help you with the 150 grain stuff. The 7-08 isn't much different than any other cartridge in the similar family. Lots of powder choices. For where and what I hunt, the 7-08 and the load I shoot works great. I run a Leupold 3x9 with a Firedot and CDS dial. Farthest I've shot is 300 yds but its dead on the money. Love my 7-08.

The latest and greatest Sierra manual shows Hunter as the accuracy load @2700 fps. The Hunting load is PP2000MR @2800fps.

WW Case, WLR and a 24 inch barrel

I've loaded for several 7mm-08s.. reloader 15 was by far the best powder, and that was with 120 to 150 grain nosler, Speer, and Hornady.

I have some 65 StaBall that I want to test some more. I have loaded a few and got great speed. Haven't done any load development for accuracy yet. Have read great reviews of it.

Thanks all.

I'm going to try some 6.5 StaBall ... and I have some H4350 in hand also. One of those should be adequate.
