Third coyote of my life!

Nomex flight gloves(long cuff) with leather insulated choppers. Silent removing the mit for shooting, can leave a hand warmer inside for fast warm ups. Flight gloves will keep fingers in useable shooting condition for couple minutes in subzero temps. The gloves(real ones) last a long time and allow great dexterity.
 
I also use glomits but goretex and thinsulate lined along with a thin “electricians” glove as a liner. The liner gives protection for my exposed fingers when l flip the “lid”. As 0168, l cut the thumb tip off the left glove to operate my remote.

I have a variety of different gloves. But. ….when I wear any of them, I can’t feel the scope buttons, can’t feel the safety (AR), no way can I feel the trigger, can’t focus the objective lens so I don’t wear any of them until the hunt’s over. But…… I do use one of these. Strap it around my waist and it’s always there and handy. I’ll either put my electric warmers inside or just a couple of “Hot Hands”. My hands stay toasty warm. Coyote coming, need to adjust the caller, just slide your hand(s) out and have at it, ready for action.

That's a good idea too, that plus putting some band warmers in it

And thanks all for the glove recommendations I'm definitely going to be looking into everything recommended!

Muted the rabbit distress for 2 mins and one of them pops out, had a hand warmer in my dominant hand like a dingdong so I slowly moved the hand warmer to my left hand and ended up taking a one armed shot on the tripod since he was staying nice and still and I didn't want to blow the chance.

I swore I thought i hit him and saw him struggling but then saw it run a bit I was like did my eyes just deceive me what just happened lol, the snow was deep so it was a bit confusing seeing the initial reaction but I could've swore I saw the death twirl..

Lost confidence and thought I missed him and moved on, kept doing the rabbit distress and another one popped out after 2 loud shots on the first one unsuppressed, it didn't stay still so I didn't shoot at it, honestly I think I could've smoked him too looking back he wasn't moving that fast but my hands were practically frozen and I was moving too slow..

Went looking for the yote and couldn't find it at first but saw the disturbed snow and finally saw tiny amounts of blood.

Kept following the tracks and there he was!
