Looking for the best powder for this combo. I would like to get 3000 fps from a 26" 8 twist barrel. I'm not asking for your load just the powder

For that combo, the first thing that comes to mind is H4350

I haven't shot a 243 for years, but for 105's in my 6x47 Lapua's, H4350 is king.

According to Hornadys data, H4350 is not going to get you to 3000. StaBALL 6.5 is what you want for max speed. Shows 43.1 as the max load. With a 26" barrel, you may hit 3100.

Here is a generic solution from quickload. A 105 gr with a H4350 44.9 and 45.8 are close to velocity nodes. The OBT nodes are 1.191 (#4 node) and 1.162 (#3.5 node). This is just to give you an idea, I would need more information to fine tune it. Please don't take this as load data, and proceed at your own risk. I also attached a list of powders from QL that are listed by velocity with a 105% or less fill ratio and a 60000 PSI pressure ceiling. Good luck, hope it helps. PM if you have any questions. Rjh.
