here in PA we can not have a loaded long gun in the vehicle. that means no loaded AR under the seat

we can have a fully loaded AR style pistol under the seat as long as we have a CC permit. yep... its true, its because its a "pistol"....i checked with the PSP and they confirmed it.

Heck the only place I know we aren’t supposed to have a loaded firearm is on a WMA. But, I have challenged that with my CCW and the GW let me go. The pistol always has a chambered round, but I only had rounds in the magazine on the long guns, so maybe that’s why. Everywhere else in our State I’m free to keep whatever firearm loaded in the truck.
Went through a check point one night and was asked do I have any firearms in the vehicle? Sorta strange because I’ve never been asked that before. I started trying to remember what all was in there ans I was naming them and he finally said just Go, lol. I’m pretty sure it was a joke being played on him cause he was the only deputy I didn’t know, lol!

Stupid laws are just as commy as check points.
 
I would normally agree, but we’d had an underage teen die while driving drunk so they set up a road block the next weekend to hopefully catch some drunk drivers and to send a message that they weren’t playing about drinking and driving.
