Bipods

I usually hunt seated in a Cabela’s lounger chair. I use a Spartan Springbok bipod or a Primos Medium trigger stick.

The Primos Trigger stick with Spartan Magnaswitch looks like the best of both.

Whats everyone’s go to for a bipod?

Plain old shooting sticks! You can slide them up or down or left to right without much effort but most importantly for the region I hunt in they don't get caught up in the snow if you need to reposition.

Sitting on a stool, homemade tempered aluminum shooting sticks. Sitting o don't want anything attached to the rifle. Standing a tripod.

Cool stuff bohunr! As mine evolved I made them from square stock as I found they seem to let the rifle rest on them better. And I noticed you rest your rifle on the barrel (or at least in that video) which IMO is a bad move. I feel it can upset the harmonics of the barrel during shooting.

thats not me. i made those sticks after finding the video on u tube. i also agree, do not rest the barrel on anything.

It's been so long ago I do not remember what forum I saw it on. Person took 2 3/8 dowl rods, a section of gas line. Folded the gas line in half cut half of it away keeping it one piece. Slipped the gas line over the dowl rods. Took old archery field points, drilled the bottom of the rods and glues the field points in. The gas line makes a nice rest for rifle. Cheap easy to make in any length you need. I still have a couple I've had for over 15 years.

I use a trigger stick mono-pole. I sit (legs don't work good anymore) and it allows a wider field of shooting. Made a strap at the forward sling to be able to hold onto both. Pole just takes the weight of the rifle.
