Hmm time to vacuum and get rid of dust n cat hairs lol!! and though u might only see one in the "crop" - OMG my old Nikon sensor is plagued with dust bunnies!

poor, poor, ugly duckling!!
these things happen.

I was thinking don't post it, hide it in the Attic or Basement!

soooo will hang on to it. :)

I need something to try different finishing products and methods on.
and a Reed tester.

thanks for the kindness :) I actually do need something that is representative to try the various techniques and products on.
Thankfully it sands back down reasonably easy.

I think so a bit.. different reed. and back pressure exit chamber is a bit different.

I have a much nicer looking call on the lathe. only part left to do is the sanding and finishing.
Also recently got different reeds to try out. On this one I do plan on having increased back pressure to start with.

I called a friend today his dad has decent yote calling land. Long drive though. Will see what comes of that. I should try to get out more. Get some exercise. gotta stay close to the truck, easy landscape. That is exactly what he has.
For my own well being, it will be daylight, less than ideal hours. Well, when I know I wont fall asleep driving. No worries to me, helps prove things out, and heck my skills! Mostly sighting them lol!

I would have to buy a Rifle.... and I know what I want. It is not cheap. A Marlin lever .357mag! would it shoot minute of coyote? I do need a lightweight Rifle.
Having been both blessed and stupid with my $$, have had my share of calibers. Even, yes a previous Marlin 357.
Would actually try open sights... I forsee laughing yotes trotting away. I don't know. I have yet to get hit with my $3500 Med deductable. You should (not) see my Woodworking spending...while i complain about med bills...

Hey maybe at my age, I might have good luck getting on new and back on old , places. Just some wishful thinking. I am certain most of the owners have left this world.

Working on it now. Answering, trying to, a guy in Austin, from Belize wants to buy my Metal lathe... drive up tommorow.
hmmm. well not fair to raise a red flag. I can image there is not much to be had there. But Houston, Austn, etc... IDK its FN Marketplace not Craigslist. iow, no set geo location as far as i know.

Love the sound of your calls. They're different from anything else that I have, so I'm thinking that's gonna be a plus when I get to calling again. It'll be a sound that no one else will have.

he doesn't have the equipment or experience to move it. I insist on being paid in cash or equivalent...zelle? before they move it. soo..if they drop it and break it... it is their new piece of scrap iron. I also refuse to help or lend equipment for the same reason.

hey wait till i can get my old upper denture fixed or something... can make open reeds then.
but they will lock up when they get wet enough.... oh my.
here is my favorite call, I need to replace the reed... it can cry/mew like a kitten, do a pup distress. and even a fair...shall we say, young coyote howl.
