Coyote # 4 With OneLeaf MT1000 and 6.5 Grendel

Well, last night I squeezed the trigger on yet another coyote, a male at the 80 yard bait site. The OneLeaf MT1000 and 6.5 Grendel continues to perform. I once again used a 90 gr. Nosler Varmageddon that gets the job done. Tiny entry and slightly over a quarter size exit. I am about ready to wrap up my season unless another one shows up soon.

March has been good to you 6. Maybe you can get another one or two in the next 5 days. I've always seen a lot of transitory coyotes in the spring. I shot another one myself this week but forgot to turn on the recorder.

Cool video. I'm surprised the Varmagedon passed through. You can see it impact the ground behind him. Sure killed him good and dead though.

Thanks guys. March has been somewhat better than the rest of my season. I am about ready to wrap it up until next fall. I have had very good results with the varmageddons throughout the years.

Hunter, it’s about the most productive here in the mountains where it’s pretty difficult to call in the thick, steep and forested hillsides.
