I've been gone for a while, but I knew where to get some help. I just picked up a 721 with a tiger stripe maple stock. It also has an old weaver 4x scope that is still clear. The bolt face is opened up and the barrel was trimmed back behind where the front sight screws would have been.
Does anyone have a pet load that they will share? What brass is preferred? 7mag, 338mag or quality 30 338 head stamp

I shoot H4350 and a 180 accubond in my 30-338. Have always necked up 7mag brass no complaints at all for 26 years I've been using it.

That sounds great. I have plenty of that so all I will need to grab is a set of dies.

Brass is cleaned sized and primed. 500 speer Hot Cors are on the shelf along with some Hornady and nosler BTs. Federal 215s and CCI primers are on hand. Plenty of powders to keep it intresting and the old Weaver is gone and a vintage Redfield wide field 3x9 is in its place. Time to load a few and take it to the range.
