I remember when this was a tin foil hat conspiracy theory and was too taboo for mainstream America. The good news is that more and more people are coming to realize this is a big part of the so called "deep state" that controls our country and has infested both political parties and most American institutions for years.

I think this is good information for the average hard working American of whom have the ability to sense something isn't right in this country today, but can't put their finger on what it is or grasp the magnitude of this problem.

i read the other day where they now have sensors that can pick up signals from cell phones while you are driving. they have installed these in some areas next to license plate readers.

now they can tell who owns the car and who is inside that car, or just walking down the street.

THIS NEEDS TO STOP !!

They pick up phones, smart watches, anything blue tooth. on board navigation thats in newer vehicles.
 
Snowden leaked that our intelligence agencies were capturing everything all of us did on our phones 15 years ago. Even that long ago, they were able to turn on our cameras and our microphones - on any phone - any time they wanted to. And they were. They were capturing every text message, every click on the internet. At least 15 years ago, and I'm sure that hasn't stopped.

I read the other day that our intelligence agency satellites collect several times more image data than all of youtube put together, EVERY DAY.

The stuff we find out about, is old, old news and nothing cutting edge. I can't even imagine what the mass surveillance capabilities are today. Seriously, can't even imagine what they are capable of and doing every day. Stuff like Flock cameras people get all upset about are ants in the afterbirth.

We have no privacy.

Alex Jones was talking about it about 20 or so years ago too. Back then it was easy to brush stuff like this off as crazy conspiracy theory bologna.

It will become more and more, then it will start going into AI precrime Minority Report type of governance...people will be arrested before any crime is committed because AI predicted a crime might happen in the future. This has already happened in America through the phony lens and lie of national security.

We see it as a high tech version of the old soviet union or the third reich because there won't be any checks or balances on it and it will get wildly out of control just like all things federal government. Right now the checks and balances of a free and independant society are largely disregarded by the people we elect since most politiicans are bought off and controlled by foreign and special interests and do not represent We The People.

The neocons are bad enough, but just wait when the marxist left takes over the country and how they'll use this unConstitutional digital panopticon as a weapon against the American people.

I don't think it makes much if any difference which party is in power. Presidents come and go. Beaureacrats and the military industrial complex abide. I think the most advanced and heinous stuff is all run under black budget SAP's that Presidents and the Congress have no knowledge or oversight of. Presidents don't get "read in". As black budget SAP's, Congress has no oversight. Doesn't matter which party is in power.

this is true!! the republicans are the ones wanting to renew FISA, which is surveillance on american citizens without a warrant. This power was abused because obama's intelligence agency used this authority to wire tap, trump tower, They used it to infiltrate the trump campaign and were listening to everything!!! in 2016. This is why there was the whole Russia conspiracy deal. They had to cook up a connection with a foreign threat in order to be able to legally do the surveillance AND be able to include an American citizen in the spying. It was the single issue that occupied half of Trump's first term and was very damaging. Yet its republicans who have renewed it!!!

oh and there was a DOJ attorney who actually altered documents to get this warrant to spy on trump. He did probation and community service, he has even gotten his law license back, LOL the deep state protects its foot soldiers.

on edit: snowden is a hero and should be pardoned, YES he revealed information but he had to go public because if staying internal WTF would that do? This knowledge needed to be revealed to the public. Snowden gave up his life for this cause. maybe one day this wrong will be righted.

IMHO it will never be righted, even a complete and utter reversal it will never correct the damage inflicted by a or any wrongful conviction.
Agree the patriot act needs to go, fear was the only thing that drove it and still continues to do so. It should have never been passed. I've said that ever since it was passed under a Republican President.

as a side note his dad was the star in a made for TV movie filmed at my parents ranch as a kid.

Yes sir seen that movie. while a bit off it hits the basic truths in the concepts. Another good one is "Unthinkable" again a little off, but not that far off the mark.
