Lake Erie was pretty mean with 5-6 foot waves and thunderstorms so a huntin I will go ! As many know I spend my summer doing a different style of predator hunting ! I walleye hunt on Lake Erie ! Another fantastic season we are having !

Property owner informed me coyotes were active the night before so I started there. Several deer and two coyotes were already there when I approached. The normal problem is the neighbors two bright driveway lights gave me up and away the coyotes went . So on to set 2. After calling with vocals for 30 minutes I was anxious to get in another stop. Gathered up my gear and one last scan was a pair standing in my downwind !

I sat back down and 1 meow had the male charging me ! BAD MOVE !

Nor have I, but I watched Steven Rinella roast one basically whole over an open fire and could smell it through the TV, so I know it has to be nasty.

Thanks Owen ! That pic is deceiving ! His lower jaw is intact. The 243 left an exit that he took advantage of and was removing his internals which are rapped around his jaw !

My sister lives in northern WI and I try to make trips up there to chase large northern pike with my BinL, he comes out west to hunt coyotes and ducks with me. I gain about a pound a day eating fried fish there.

Bass and Northern Pike weird I know, I prefer over 5# northern pike to walleye for eating, I have learned to fillet them so they are boneless and I like the firm large flaked meat of big northerns, more like halibut in texture.

I've caught a lot of large walleye living in MN and WI 5-10# and took an 8# out of the Pueblo Reservoir still my favorite is Northern Pike.
