Many great people left the healthcare field leaving voids that noone wanted to fill, which stressed the remaining staff members to their limits.
You don't need to be vaccinated, but you can't go to work unless you're vaccinated.
Churches shut down, but liquor stores remained open.
Add on the mental harm to the children when society shut down during their formative years.
Youth wings in mental institutions have tripled in size to handle the bullshit this man unleashed on society.

Real evidence, very early showed it was a lab leak, accidental or not. Showed up a couple months later. Then hit the US where Wa state did the wrong thing in treatment. China then destroyed the lab and original experiment viruses and docs. (and evidently researchers disappeared. Pretty much a coverup by every body. Yes, Fauci was behind the HIV stuff (didn't work) and other proposed inoculations. CRISPER tended to show ivermectin as a solution and then data was hidden. Trump was told lies to the the vaccine into emergency status (by pass normal safety testing). Economy about crashed. Other than showing the players involved, nothing substantial will occur.
Interesting side note. Long time ago, visited Seattle (bro lived in Belleview) and went to King Dome. Very busy setting up for a revival show (Billy Graham), full audience that week. Clean town. Many trips to Boeing while back, wow what a difference, trashy. Now - Seattle Is in Free Fall. Yup. Done for.

those home test kits probably came with the virus on the swab. thats why some of those tests came back positive when no one used them but just sent them in for testing.

Congress is NOT court, so yes even though they can attempt to compel testimony. They have limits, contempt of congress is about it. penalty $100,000.00 fine max and or up to 1 year in jail. Understand Congress cannot directly impose criminal penalties or final punishments itself for a contempt citation. It must go to criminal prosecution court.
So can he plead the 5th and get away with it yes.

And honestly I basically told the wife the same as @Bowhntr6pt stated. Here is the absolute worst I can think of. Congress takes a vote for contempt of Congress, say it passes, then it "must" be referred to the DOJ to impose the penalties in a federal trial, He maintains the 5th, he winds up with a contempt of court conviction is a penalty of $1000.00 or 6 months imprisonment. The problem is that even if congress votes yes it still requires a court to convict. Could he wind up being convicted of both contempt of Congress and court if he maintains his 5th amendment protects yes, Highly doubtful, the problem lies in the fact that the fifth is absolute. most likely the court would dismiss the case.

Do I think he should face the music? absolutely, but our system protects of "should" protect everyone. Had it not been in the public eye and him not being in his position yeah they would throw the book at him. But with the dog and pony show yeah they have to follow the rule to a T which means he walk scot free.

correct but I will add this. Fauci could argue his pleading the 5th because he is still subject to prosecution from states and even other countries. So to say this is a settled matter on him actually being in contempt very much isn't. Another problem is this would be likely assigned to a DC court because our own DOJ is too stupid to figure out how to move and bring these cases outside of DC, maybe in say a state like say florida. DC courts will not prosecute these people. We have seen this from comey to clinesmith. Also rumor is Trumps DOJ doesn't wanna mess with fauci. They don't have the political will to do it. So IMO its likely the committee votes Fauci in contempt. I don't think it would pass the full senate. none the less the DOJ could prosecute it, but its a DC court that would take that and only after the DOJ pushes it.

what needs to happen is a state attorney general takes this up. OR another country seeks to extradite fauci. Congress can't prosecute people themselves because the founders banned "bills of attainder" this had been a problem in England where political bodies would vote on weather or not to prosecute someone. as insane as the democrats are if they are in charge one can only imagine how off the rails that would go.

Agree with you Steve, The Presidential pardon is Federal protection not state. Even that said nothing protects him from being charged with contempt, at the Federal level at any state in the Union. And honestly if "they" wanted to punish him he would be tried and convicted. Right now it's just political grandstanding by the majority. Although I'm sure that some of the members really want to do something about it. After all the midterms is coming up so there is that to consider.
