Misplaced the Entire Night

I didn’t make my first stand until almost 11, and that wasn’t even the plan.

I was going to make a couple sets, then get home and get a decent night’s sleep. Somewhere along the way, I got caught up in the hunt and lost track of time.

By the time I headed home, daylight had already arrived. The couple quick stands turned into an all-night hunt, and the night of sleep turned into a day of rest.

Somewhere along the way, I went looking for a couple coyotes and somehow misplaced the entire night.

A couple of memorable stands from this hunt. Quiet suppressors and fast follow-up shots make mopping up the second one a whole lot smoother.

looks like you had a good night .. years ago i kept coon hounds and had similar nights .. only going to hunt one spot and go home but due to the coons running stayed til daylight .. i have had coyote hunts like this too ..

Damn!.. Oh, wait… It’s just Jeremy.

I’ve been in a similar situation a time or two. I tell the wife I’m just going to have a couple drinks with my buddies and the next thing you know, the sun is coming up and the wife is standing in the door with the rolling pin.
