My Sonicore Rekker OB came today. Interesting design having expansion chamber behind the muzzle and baffles in front. It is big almost 8" long but it only adds 5" to the overall length and weighs 14 oz. Mine is a 30cal and I'm using it on a Howa Mini HB in 6mm ARC the can will fit over a barrel to .750". Baffles are modular and you can remove them to shorten, about 1"/baffle. I have no ideal how much louder it gets when shortened. All in all the $299 price was nice and it doesn't look or feel cheap

Shooting test for accuracy will have to wait, lost the vision in my right eye. My cataract lens decided to take an excursion around the inside of my eye and they have to go in and grab the little sucker and tack it in place. See the surgeon friday and get scheduled. Hope it's soon hunting season is just around the corner.

Obviously, the more baffles, the quieter it gets, & the ammo will affect it as well.

You'll have to experiment to find the acceptable tradeoff.
