Wolf Hybrids Escape in NH

Just heard this on the radio.
Several Wolf Hybrids escaped from their pen in Lempster NH.
They are being searched for by "trappers".
Some concerned neighbors have armed themselves.
Didn't hear any more details.
I'll update this post if I hear more.

****Grabs 300 mag, 5 gallon bucket of dog food and heads for Lempster, NH*****

You could probably call them in by shaking that bucket with some dry food in it..... hmmmm change the above!

****Grabs 45 Long Colt pistol******

Now that would be a rush... Point blank head shot in a five gallon bucket!

If that is true, this is one bad time for it to happen. Archery season just opened.

From what I have been able to gather, the hybrids do not make any sounds. They do not bark or growl.

To top it off, they have no fear of man, but that can be changed I would imagine /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

By the way, we have had wolves in NH for years. They cross over from Canada when the St Laurence freezes. Sometimes, they get stuck here.

They don't call it the great north woods for nothing. Lots of things up there that they say are not here in NH.

Lots of stuff running around in the Berkshire Mountains here in Massachusetts that ain't supposed to be here either. Only thing left to see is Bigfoot. Haven't called him yet /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

But nothing surprises me anymore, and to catch a glimpse of a mountain lion or Canadian Lynx is not unheard of for a woodsman that spends lots of time in the field.

Yup Al, lots of neat stuff out there /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif
