Beretta CX4 Storm 9mm

I bought a beretta cx 4 storm in 9mm from a friend about 8 months ago. I shot a few boxes of ammo through it and it worked great with no problems. I really like the gun and its a fun toy to have because its cheap to shoot. I'm having a problem with it now and was wondering if any of you could help. Now for some reason when you shoot it the magazines fall out of the gun. I use only factory beretta mags so that is not the problem. I cleaned around the mag catch inside the gun and that doesnt seen to be the problem either. I cant figure it out and its getting really frustrating. If anyone has any ideas as to a fairly cheap way to fix it I would appreciate your opinions. I dont think it will be covered under warranty because I bought it second hand. I really dont want to spend a whole lot on getting it fixed but I dont want to sell it either. Any ideas??????????
 
LT, sounds like the spring on the mag catch is not working correctly. I would check this. Maybe why the other guy sold it. I have the .40 and have shot it a bunch. Local PD bought them for their Dept after they shot mine.

I would call Beretta and tell them you are having a problem. They won't know if you bought it second hand or not unless you tell them. Great handgun, much better than their new 90-2!
