otters in box traps

I was wondering if anybody here has any experience with otter trapping in box traps. I live in a terrible place for trapping and body gripping and leg traps are illegal so that leaves us with box traps only.

Can they be set in the same manner as body gripping traps except a two door trap and a piece of wire to alter the pan into a trip wire. I am sure the trap would need staking also and feeder creeks are my thought not primary routes.

when trapping otter in Cages, you need a longer version of a coon cage, same width and height, about 10x12x42, needs to be longer with a live bait cage in the back...I set feeder streams, and swim throughs, using fish as bait....

Thanks. Its a single door trap right? and do you use live fish for bait or something else like crawfish?
