Stock No. 1375. Does anyone have any experience with them? I am thinking of giving them a try in my K8 target/match.

I have a DTech 6x45 with an OLY SUM barrel that loves Sierra 60 grain HP #1500 with AA2015.

I have no doubt that your rifle will like the .224 version with the same powder.

Sierra considers the #1375 60 grain and the #1385 40 grain Varminter hunting bullets. The Sierra manuals says the #1375 is an excellent long range bullet with precision accuracy.

I was not impressed with them as a coyote round from my swift. I went to them last year for a change of pace. Had a lot of spinners and runners compared to the 55 BT. Also lost some distance in trajectory. They shot great, just didn't anchor the coyotes like I thought they would.

I'll tell you that the 22 caliber 60g Sierra is more of a deer bullet than a predator bullet. I used them on one hunting trip. I had a supurbly accurate custom 22/250 with a custom barrel on it that would thread a needle at 100 yards. I had the 22/250 loaded with a hot load of IMR 4350 with the 60's and they clocked right at 3500 fps or a touch more. The morning's first coyote came in broadside, cominig in from down wind at 100 yards. I barked and he slammed on the breaks to a dead stop, I immediately center punched him with a shot on the back of the lungs or stomach. He took off, I spotted him again at about 175 trotting, I put the cross hair just off the front of the shoulder and touched off the trigger. At the shot, I saw dirt fly right behind him with him taking off at the trot. I was sitting there trying to regain my composure, this was starting to really hurt my ego a little, when he appeared at about 250 licking his side. I put the crosshair on top of his shoulder and at the shot, he folded up. When we picked up the coyote, he had 3 holes in him, all good hits, just a little too far back. All of these shots would have been kill shots with the 55g Sierra Spt or 55g BTHP.

A couple of stands later, here comes another yote, I hit him in the lungs, down and then up he goes. Then OFF he goes...dang! We found him 100 yards out.

I went back to the Sierra 55g BTHP, and you will never have trouble with that bullet opening up, but you will be able to penetrate the sholders and hip joints if you need to. Quartering shots are also great with that bullet.

well see i had probs with the 52 grain BTHP sierra match king that i used for deer i shot my first dog at about 180yards right behind the front shoulder dropped and didn't even kick hit may call and about 4 min later one come half way out of a valley about 320 yards away in posted up felt good about the shot touched off i seen him fall behind the hill feeling good i said heck and hit the call again about 5 secs after hit the call from the same valley another popped out from the hill and took off running it ran about 450 yards away and looked back touched one off and seen what appeared to be impact the dog ran through the fence into the woods had about 2 inches of snow on the ground at this time so i decided to call it a day check out the first dog on the way he was hit clean through the heart exit wound was about the size of a nickle that worried me ona deer when it exited it leaves a HOLE!
went to check out the nuber 2 and well there was no dog . i seen were he went down and then got back up dog #2 and dog#3 was the same dog tracked a nice blood trail to were he stoped for my other shot found a wad of fur white fur hit him low second shot and alot of blood tracked him for about 300 yards and gave up ..... so i'll stick with my nosler balistics or my varmint nightmare 55 grain softspoints for the puppy dogs.....
