Here l am sitting in the suv hoping this drizzle will stop. Got in 1 set, moved down the road 2 hollows and walked up the barn lane to the top of the hill and it smacked me in the face being driven at 10-15mph.😖
Never fails the last few months, if they say 15, l am gonna see it so l stay close to home and line up sets within 200y of my parking spot.
Olympics are a good fall back.

If you have a phone, look at the radar. I can just about time it within 25yds making it back to the truck in time, 😆
I said 25yds because I’ve gotten soaked to the bone in the last stretch to the truck. Don’t run like I used to since the hip was replaced. Heck, I can’t run at all since then, it’s more of a fast hobble!!

Spur, the radar didn't show ANYTHING within 60 miles, and it was just a little green dot passing over Elkins, WVA. Anyhow, it was done by the time I posted the 'rant' so made 3 more uneventful sets before calling it a night.
And I understand that 'soak to the bone' with the vehicle in sight all too well :ROFLMAO:, besides as slippery as it was with the snow melting (hit 60 yesterday) even walking was a 'slip/slide' event on my hills. Conditions like this is when my tripod becomes a walking stick every step and has saved my azz many times. Prolly shouldn't even be out, but we all know 'how it is'.
