I understand from a post on another thread that Nosler is making 17 Fireball brass....

Does anyone know who has it in stock ? I just went to Midway and they did not show it.

Thanks in advance......

huntschool...now the link is going to 221 Fireball brass...don't know why it changed but when I initially searched it came up with 17 Fireball brass. Sorry

They don't say anything about it. They do suggest annealing though. I have a .17 Hornet and a .17 Remington and just use factory brass.

Thanks I'm building a 17 fireball and can't find live ammo or brass locally so I'll try some of 223 conversions and see what happens.

Step1 buy a die to resize to 221 fireball
2. Make a jig to hold several cases and cut to length on table saw
3. Cut to length
4. Trim to length
5. Debur in and out
6. Resize neck with 22 caliber decal rod
7. Trim neck thickness ( MUST)!!
8.run thru 17 fireball die
9. Check case length again
10. Trim and debur if necessary
11. PICK UP BRASS WHEN SHOT TO AVOID STEPS 1-10!!!
