17 hmr scope suggestions

I just ordered a CZ 457 in 17 hmr, primarily for some squirrel and raccoon shooting. Looking for a decent budget optic to throw on it, something under $250 if possible.

I was thinking of a Leupold 3-9x33 efr in the vx freedom line.

Any one have any good suggestions?

I just put a Bushnell Rimfire Optics 6-18x40 on my 17 HMR and I'm very pleased with it.
