.17 Remington Scope?

One of the scopes was sent back because you couldnt adjust the crosshairs. You would click them up or down and they wouldnt move, you could not site it in. It is on its 3rd trip back for the same thing. The other one got hard to see through. They sent it back and it works fine now.

Did they provide an explanation ?? Surely they would have checked this before shipping back to you.Dunno ??

No they didnt give me explanation. All they said was inspection, rebuilt lens, image problems. It was something like that. It seemed to work when I got it back but it just wouldnt hold a group it was all over the place. Then they fixed it again. Basically said the samething.

Depends on how far you are shooting and what type of target you are shooting at. If you are looking for a double duty scope 4-12 might be the one. I like all I can get as, "One can only shoot as good as one can see!" Close calling ranges 6X would be enough. I am not one for taking 4-500 yd shots at live critters as calling is suppose to be the fun in this sport not long range hit or miss.

I have used Leupold for over 35 yrs and never had a problem. Still have some that are over 20 yrs old.

Jack thank's for the reply..

Sometime's i become slightly confused about Leupold's..I hear conflicting thing's @ time's on the "net" yet i've met almost countless folk's in the field or @ the range who insist Leupold is the only way to go..Even the few who i've met that have experianced a problem will go on & on & on about how wonderful Leupold treated them..So i guess we move on..

Sorry if i've taken the original topic off course..
