On the Bmag the trigger housing is pretty much the only thing that is plastic but even so the quality of all the metal parts and pieces is, saying it politely as I can, not good and it's actually quite surprising they can be made to shoot as well as they do. I've done a little work to mine but with the exception of tuning on the trigger and having it threaded the barreled action is pretty much as it came from the factory. I feel very fortunate to have one that shoots really well because I know there are others that weren't so lucky.So true the quality is way down now days
