17hmr clips

I was wondering if Savage makes a 7-10 round clip for the 17hmr. Also if they do, where can i find one. Any advice would be appreciated.

not that i know of.... i just bought a extra mag incase i need a quick reload.

I don't think they make anything bigger than their 5 round magazine.

I have bought 2 SS mags at gun shows. They actually hold 6 rds. Didn't pay any attention to who the Mfr. was, though.

I was looking at it last night and was wondering, if i were to cut, or change the spring, could i possibly get another round or two in there. Or would anyone not advise that.

A little work with a file and you can use a Marlin clip that holds 7. I saw a write up on this over on Rimfire central back a couple years ago.
