1911 .45ACP grips I made this weekend

I picked up this 1911 .45ACP a few weeks ago, worked up my lead 200grn. IDPXD#4 LRNFP bullets @ 894FPS, HS-6 powder AOL 1.225. Works great.
So I decided to make my own grips first time doing this and they came out very nice. Five coats of tung oil hand rubbed.

What kinda wood you using there?
The bottom set looks like rosewood...
Am I close?

They were fun to make,put two pieces of dowlrod in holes and roll on belt sander. Then fine sand paper, till cross sand marks are gone. Gene'o

I turn three of the four and couldn't recognize them!!
Back to remedial training i guess....
