about how many rounds will 1 lb of powder make in something like a .223.I have never reloaded anything and think i want to start so just trying to figure out some numbers.
Bullets= 100 per box
1lb powder= 285 charges (my load at 24.5grs)
primers= 1000 per brick
As you can tell you will usually run out of bullets before anything else. If your adding up the money part you won't save any at all! BUT you will get to shoot twice as much, which means more trigger time, which in turn means a better shooter!
thanks for the info it does help i really need to get in to reloading.i have a browning 1919 beltfeed that i look at more than i get to shoot it so .308 45/70 10mm 223. would be nice for more time on them.
