AWS,,, My M8 6X has fine crosshairs and a 2MOA dot. I've had it for 20+ years and have used it in all kinds of situations. The fine crosshairs are kinda subliminal (sp?) to me and help keep the dot centered in the scope.
The 2MOA dot sucks for range work because it's twice the size of the 1" dots I use on my targets at 100. Guess I could use 2" stickers but I doubt that it would help since I can't see squat at 100 with a 6X anyway.
I use this scope on a L461 in 222 that are a perfect match. The rifle's older than the scope so the load work was done a long time ago thankfully.
