2-23 Female coyote

Went out with my hunting buddy last night. Had a NW wind around 6mph(that's what On-X stated) I had a spot in mind we hadn't hunted since deer season. I set the call into the wind about 80 yards out and up the side of a rolling hill. We were expecting the coyotes to come up the base of the rolling hill and look for the caller. I started with Cal Taylor's prarie dog distress and let it run for 6 minutes before I switched to another distress call. When I had set the call out I scanned around and saw a bunch of deer in the field and at about the 12 minute mark they started running towards us. I knew something was up as they didn't have our wind and kept looking back. I kept calling and scanning and suddenly a coyote appeared out of the base of the hill walking towards the call. I signaled my partner and we got set up as he counted us to 3. We had never done this before but we shot in sync and absolutely stoned her. Below is a picture and video:

Thanks guys. I'm having the best season in the 5 years I've been hunting coyotes. Steep learning curve but finally getting consistent results. We had 2 more stands and we called a coyote to a tree line at 300 yards but would not budge, on the second stand. I'll see if I can find the video. Maybe we should have shot but we didn't. At least we didn't educate him and maybe he'll be around for the next time.
